About Global One

Since its founding, the small community of Cascade, Iowa, located in the east-central sector of the state, has been a hub of industry.  Situated on US Highway 151, a main thoroughfare connecting the cities of Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, Cascade was centrally-located for quick and easy transport to larger destinations while offering the quaint, small-town atmosphere often lauded about Midwest living.  It was the perfect combination for growing a business.  

For decades Cascade Custom Manufacturing was the welding shop in town that served these industrial entities and travelers-through whose vehicles broke down or machines needed expert-welder attention.  But when Cascade Customs’ owner retired in the early 2000s, the absence of such a business was felt throughout the community and surrounding area.  Local businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs needed a place to turn to again, so three investors took it upon themselves to resurrect the shop, and Global One Manufacturing was (re)born.

Since its inception in 2015, Global One has established a reputation of providing welding services with quick turnaround times, attention to detail, and expertise of staff.  Our location in Cascade, Iowa, offers steel fabrication and painting for trailers, railings, floor grates, and farm implements; packing house trolley assembly fabrication; steel sales; and custom designs to fit your exact ideas and needs.

Shop Manager Jarrod Burns received his training on the job over the past twenty years as he worked his way from apprentice to expert welder.  From fusing two steel sheets to completely rebuilding an axle, Jarrod can reimagine and repair your project.
